ALL ABOUT AMANDA
I was born in the Chicago area, but military family life kept me moving. I spent a good portion of my childhood in Germany, where I spent almost every free moment hiking, biking, skiing and swimming in beautiful Bavaria & surrounding countries. After moving to the Pacific Northwest, I continued to delve into all my outdoor passions, but my love for water always stayed constant, as I swam competetively.
I was introduced to Pilates, while teaching water aerobics & group fitness classes and started my journey in the Pilates certification process in 2018.
It has been such a gift to learn about body mechanics and how important the mind-body connection is for safe and controlled movement for all ages and fitness levels.
Besides Pilates, I am also trained in Barre (ballet-inspired workout), and Spin (indoor cycling workout). I love integrating these into my Pilates workouts, as well!
I am passionate about showing clients the benefits I have received from the practice of Pilates. I love helping clients find greater body awareness, improved core strength & stability, and achieve their fitness goals, so they are able to live life to the fullest!
